Checked out that curriculum — it does appear limited in terms of the full data science process. That looks intentional on the university’s part: “[The programme] focuses on data analysis skills and explores core areas of applied and business statistics” (from the page you linked). So more of a focus on analysis/modeling/statistics, which are probably the trickiest aspects to grasp.
That’s exactly why I was originally sold on Udacity as well!
I actually used to have the Machine Learning Engineer Nanodegree (MLND) in my curriculum but switched it out:
Not every individual course (i.e. the “Supporting Courses” listed in the syllabus here) within the MLND gets great reviews on Class Central and other review sites. There are so many other great options available for ML. I went with others for ratings reasons and for customizability.
