Could I succeed in an online, self-directed curriculum without the experience of traditional university? For me, I think so, though the DIY approach might not foster work ethic in the same way that a pressure-packed university environment would for others. Did my undergrad math experience helped me succeed in learning computer science and data science fundamentals? Definitely.
