The three big reasons for me were:
- The individual courses in the MLND don’t get great reviews for various reasons.
- Udacity has improved their Nanodegree product big-time with their latest few ND releases. In-classroom experience, production value, teaching style, etc. The MLND doesn’t reflect their latest and greatest.
- There is value community-wise and recruitment-wise in being in the first/early cohort(s) of a program.
